Normandy Bonfire

Bonfire Night in Normandy is always a highly anticipated event for those in the village and this very traditional experience always takes place on the 5th November.  It starts at the Hunts Hill Road car park, opposite Session Music at approximately 6.30pm with a torch lit procession that provides a magical journey through the Normandy Common woodland, arounbonfire4d the Nbonfire3ormandy Pond and ends up in the Manor Fruit Farm. Here visitors see the lit bonfire for the first time and the torches, that had been carefully carried by people of all ages, are placed by members of the Normandy Volunteer Network around the structure creating an enchanting scene. Whilst families tuck into the locally sourced BBQ food and available drinks the fireworks spectacular commences about 7.20pm. There are also a few fairground rides for the children.  It is an event for all the family to enjoy and also entertains guests from outside of the village.  For more information, please visit the Facebook page:  facebook
